Our Story
Loodswaai Game Ranch is a private, family-owned wildlife sanctuary situated in the bushveld of north-eastern Gauteng, South Africa, roughly sixty kilometres north-east of Pretoria near the R567 Rust de Winter Road. This website is the official online presence of the ranch — an informational hub built to help prospective guests, hunters, conservationists, and day visitors discover everything the property has to offer before they ever set foot on the dirt.
The app showcases the ranch's rich biodiversity, home to more than five hundred animals across fifteen species including rare Sable Antelope, a herd of Big Five Buffalo, Giraffe, Zebra, Blue Wildebeest, Impala, and Greater Kudu. Visitors can browse detailed wildlife profiles, explore six distinct self-catering accommodations ranging from the thatched Lodge and Dam Chalet to the off-grid Wag 'n Bietjie Kamp, review experiences such as guided game drives and day-visitor packages, and submit booking requests directly through an integrated availability calendar that synchronises with the ranch's shared Google Calendar.
It is built for nature lovers, photographers, families, and groups seeking an authentic bushveld escape within easy reach of Pretoria and Johannesburg — a place where the rhythm of the wild still sets the pace. The site is designed and maintained by the Loodswaai team using the Base44 platform, reflecting a commitment to making this corner of the South African wild accessible, transparent, and simple to book. The ranch itself is operated by Goodina Wildsboerdery CC, a family enterprise dedicated to ethical game management, conservation, and hospitality.
